Luckily, there are many different CCR and CTE options available to help prepare students for the future. From the soft skills they need to cope with drastic change to integrating edtech into the classroom, the future of learning is filled with opportunity.

Are soft skills the future?

The integration of edtech into classrooms has emerged as a powerful catalyst for better preparing students for the workforce. Career readiness in the modern workforce requires so much more than the traditional education model is able to deliver, and edtech has augmented curriculums around the country with powerful tools. EdTech is equipping learners with the skills and knowledge they require in order to thrive in the dynamic and competitive landscape of the 21st century workforce. EdTech is revolutionizing career readiness, preparing students for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

We’re in the midst of an educational revolution that will only continue to change more rapidly with advancements in technology. For example, just a decade ago, most schools only used about 30 edtech solutions to help deliver their curriculum. Today, schools are accessing around 2,500 edtech apps.

For nearly a decade, schools and districts have utilized multi-tiered systems of support (known as MTSS) to aid student success. MTSS is an overarching framework that serves to identify students’ academic and social emotional needs, and the resources and interventions that will help them succeed. While utilization of MTSS has been in law since 2015, these interventions have proven even more necessary in recent years.
